Files: Right click on the file below and choose "Save target as." Open the file in CorelDraw 8 or later.

These acrylic magnets were created using a 120 watt Legend EXT laser system.

Using a sheet of clear acrylic that has been spray painted white, we engraved the painted side of the acrylic at 300 DPI with the following settings:

Raster: 100% speed, 40% power
Vector: 10% speed, 85% power

We ran the raster portion of the job a second time to remove any white residue that was left at 100% speed, 10% power.

Next, take the sheet of LaserMag and place strips of double-stick tape over the back of the magnetic material.

Select the outer border of the flower and send the selection to the laser in vector mode. We used the following settings:

Vector: 10% speed, 85% power

Finally, paint the back of the acrylic the color you would like to show through the white.

Place your photo in the frame, attaching it with tape. Remove the tape backing from the magnet material and attach to the back of the acrylic.
